It is virtually unbreakable, making it extremely safe in areas where the material may be exposed to high impact.It is UL listed for vandal resistance and it complies with ANSI (Z97.1) for transparent safety glazing.Polycarbonate is UV stabilized giving it effective resistance to sun exposure.It performs well in outdoor applications for up to 7 years.
